On August 18 2022, at the emblematic Square 500 part of the National Gallery of Bulgaria, 150 influencers and journalists from the biggest media were invited for a private streaming of the first episode of House of the Dragon 4 days before the premiere on HBO Max.
For the aims of the exclusive Sofia event in Square 500 we transformed gallery’s garden into Westeros castle with light projections on the building walls, thematic branding and space rearrangement placing 10 x 6 m screen, thematic bars, branded photo spots and gift game machines from which guest could play for limited licensed edition beer and other HBO branded items.
The guests could play for limited edition beer and other HBO Max merchandise.
More than 90% of the guests shared their experience on their social profiles tagging HBO Max Bulgaria. The average accumulated reach was more than 1M and that created enormous expectations for the official premiere on the streaming platform. With this culmination event, we made sure numerous PR articles, posts and stories from celebrities and influencers, as well as we managed to arouse the curiosity of random passers-by.
The Dragon Skull project was honored with the Silver prize in the “Launch or Special Event” category at the prestigious Bright Awards, organized by the Bulgarian Association of PR Agencies. This recognition highlights the campaign's excellence and its ability to captivate audiences with a memorable live experience.
